Paola + Kenneth: Brookyln, ny winter wedding
I had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Paola and Kenneth's intimate wedding in Brooklyn, NY. It was a special day filled with their closest friends and family, as they tied the knot in a literal sense with the Handfasting ritual.
The ceremony was short but sweet, and it was a unique touch to tie the knot according to the ancient Celtic ritual they partaked in. Paola and Kenneth's love for each other was so electric, and it was evident that they were excited to start their new journey together as a married couple. It was especially heartwarming to learn that they were high school sweethearts, and Paola even saved the very first bouquet of flowers that Kenneth gave her. Their love story is truly one of my favorites!
The wedding was a small and intimate affair, with only their immediate family and closest friends present. However, the warmth and love in the room were radiant. It was clear that this couple was loved and supported by those closest to them.
As a wedding photographer, I always strive to capture the essence of every moment, and Paola and Kenneth made it easy for me. Their love and affection for each other were so evident and clear that it was apparent that these two were meant for each other ten times over.
The ceremony was quick, and the couple celebrated with a simple reception, surrounded by their loved ones. The focus was on their love for each other, and it was a beautiful reminder that a wedding is not about the size of the event but the love between two people. Despite the balloon arch not being delivered on the day, Paola remained positive and upbeat, trusting that everything would work out - and it did!
In the end, Paola and Kenneth's wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair that truly captured the essence of their love and commitment to each other. It was an honor to be a part of documenting their special day, especially with the unique Handfasting ceremony.
